The Grand-Cross -Grand-Square ( 4 Squares & 2 Oppositions)
The Grand Cross or Grand Square configuration is formed by four (can be more with conjunctions) planetary bodies all SQUARED (90 degrees) to each other and two pairs are OPPOSITE each other. The four 90 degree angles form the Grand Square and the two planetary oppositions form the Grand Cross.
Natal charts that own this aspect have feelings of being blocked, directionless while being pulled in many directions. The Cross has a tendency to bring the energy of indecisiveness. Or over analyzing until the decision becomes useless due to the inability to make the decision.
Like the T-Square, the Grand Cross has the characteristic of one of the modalities: Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable modes.
A Grand Cross includes one planet in each of the elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water. Because the Grand Cross is composed of Squares and Oppositions, it is an aspect pattern that is concerned with both action (Squares) and perspective and balance (Oppositions).
Esoterically, the Grand Cross is a 4th Harmonic aspect pattern. Ending and beginnings, beginnings and endings four relates to the cross of matter; it is the number of form, and of structure, and of the physical world. The planetary symbol for the Earth is an equal arm cross surrounded by a circle.
The energy potential of building stress and tension until it has to be released. At that point, some sort of action needs to happen. Squares can generate the energy of feeling insecure and uncomfortable. One can choose to look at squares as being either concrete blocks imprisoning themselves or one can choose to consider them as building blocks to teach and challenge one to focus on the meeting of the all the four directions, where all directions become one within the cross.
When the opposing planets are balanced, then they are exerting the same amount of pressure on the planets that they square. This creates a solid foundation, relieving the pressure, if the opposing planets are out of balance, which is most likely the case until the energy is understood the breaks down, and the squares apply uncomfortable pressure and stresses until dealt with.

The Grand-Trine (3 Trines)
The Grand Trine involves three planets or luminaries (Sun and Moon). Each forming a trine (120 degrees angles) between each other, forming a equilateral triangle. Usually, the three celestial bodies within their respective signs are representative of one element (AIR, WATER, FIRE or EARTH). The Grand Trine divides the GREAT CIRCLE of 360 degrees into thirds. This makes it the Third harmonic aspect.
If the Grand Trine in a chart also has one of the planets as the ruler of the chart involved in the formation, then the energy being expressed is considered divine in nature. The ascendant is where Divine Spirit - soul expression enters the chart and begins expression, so the energy flow is coming east of the point of enlightenment.
Regardless of that aspect the Grand Trine is pure in its expression of the elemental energies.
The Grand Trine is considered to be a lucky or blessed aspect with on a natal chart and the expression often bestows a great sense of friendly social interaction and harmony beauty of prescience and mind. However when things come easily to the natal chart owner sometimes it is to believe that the luck will continue and some times the energy is harvested in a lacidazicle way such as minor personal pleasures with put a harder more intense aspect to activate the chart the person is often left with useless gifts.
YOD
Keywords: Divine expression of energy
AYod or "finger of God"(2 Inconjunctions & 1 Sextile) is formed when two planets make a sextile aspect and a third planet is opposite their mid-point. That third planet must make angles of 150 degrees with the other two. If you drew lines on the chart connecting the planets, you would get a Y-shaped formation that seems to point to one part of the horoscope.
That 150 degree angle is called a quincunx, a minor aspect with a strange affect depending on other chart contributions some times favorable or unfavorable . The energy is flowing against itself and its applied balance sets the energy in the a balancing positions. Its hard to tell with the aspect by itself which way the energy will flow as its changeable and contributes to the idea of balancing the current circumstances.
The result of a chart configured with a Yod is steadier and the power is focused. The “energy” of the two planets making the sextile seems directed to the house and sign containing that third planet. Yod's are said to be “fated” the interpererptation seems to imply a special destiny or chosen focus. However as is true with all people participating in life if one does not live up to their destiny, then destiny is just an emphasis on one particular area of the life. If one is guided by the energy of a yod the focus is frequently driven, compelling and in continual motion as though the purpose is seen and understood and action is the movement to fulfill the destiny of the YOD or finger of god.
THE KITE
Keywords: Divinity of energy
The Kite
3 Trines, 2 Sextiles, 1 Opposition
A Kite is always in the same polarity, either feminine (Earth and Water) or masculine (Fire and Air).
The KITE helps the Grand Trine with forming an opposition (180 degrees) with one of the planets in the Grand Trine, thus creating a focus for the energy of the Trine. allowing for the necessary perspective gained by the opposition and the sextiles. The opposition forms two sextiles (60 degrees) to the other two planets in the Grand Trine.
The opposition encourages and enlightens the individual to take advantage of their talents through the Grand Trine aspect, becoming the focal planet.
Because it is the Grand Trine element the energy can still be squandered and left, hopefully the individual choose to open the energies and utilize the hidden talents and birth gifts of their natal chart.
The two sextiles on the sides of the opposition provide an avenue for the opposition to be expressed and potential to be recognized
The Grand Trine is considered a “soft” or lacking in action and direction can cause a lack of action. The difference between adding the KITE to the Grand Trine is the natal chart owner understands and becomes aware that there is more to be done with this flow of energy and that it does have a destination( a specific manifestation through action).
IF the Kite has a Square or other oppositions the energies become more stressful and “driven” making the personality of the natal chart owner intense focused and aggressive.
